Save the date: 18th International Music Business Research Days
20–22 September 2027 — Poznań, Poland
We are delighted to announce that the 18th International Music Business Research Days (IMBRDs) will take place in Poznań, hosted by the Poznań University of Economics and Business (PUEB).
PUEB is a public university specialising in economics, management, business and related socio‑economic disciplines. Founded in 1926, it enters its second century with a strong academic tradition and an increasingly international profile. In 2026 PUEB was awarded AACSB International accreditation, an international benchmark of excellence held by fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide. The university cooperates with more than 170 international partner universities across 43 countries.
PUEB’s research and teaching environment is particularly well suited to the interdisciplinary character of IMBRDs, with strengths in:

Poznań provides an exceptional academic and cultural base: home to over 102,000 students (including more than 5,000 international students from 100+ countries) and a large community in business, social sciences, ICT and arts‑related fields. The city is also a lively music and festival hub — from NEXT FEST Music Showcase & Conference to the BitterSweet Festival (≈70,000 attendees in 2025) and the long‑established Malta Festival (more than 500 artists from 20 countries in 2026).
